4 more COVID-19 cases diagnosed today; total now 164

Cayman has reported four more COVID-19 cases today, out of 690 test results returned.

That brings the total coronavirus cases in the Cayman Islands to 164.

One of the new cases is the contact of a known case, while the other three are asymptomatic and were discovered through screening.

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee has just revealed the latest results.

There are now 93 people recovered.

  • 13,947 tests have been run in total
  • 1 case is symptomatic
  • 69 are asymptomatic
  • 54 people are in government facilities
  • 220 are isolating at home

Premier Alden McLaughlin said Cayman can be recognised as the most successful country in the world at managing the COVID-19 pandemic.
