4.2 earthquake recorded off Barbados Zazeannah Walker Created : 18 May 2017 Caribbean News The earthquake was 98 km northeast of Barbados. A 4.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded off Barbados today. The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre reported that the quake occurred at 8:14 am and was located 98 km northeast of Bridgetown, Barbados. It was also 214 km east of Castries, Saint Lucia and 241 km southeast of Fort-de-France, Martinique. The Centre is asking persons who may have felt the quake to report it to them.
