Exemplary service by five Barbadians across the fields of education, health, and sports has been recognized in stellar fashion.

This year a total of 1,073 people are being given awards in today’s list, three-quarters of whom are recognised for outstanding work in their local communities.

The awards form part of the Queen's June 8th birthday celebrations. It's a tradition.
