Biker among four injured in three-vehicle crash

Four persons — including a scooter bike driver — were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Crewe Road yesterday.

Police emergency received the call about the crash just before 5:45am.

The crash involved a white Honda Stream with three occupants, a red scooter and a silver Honda Accord with one occupant.

The Honda Stream and scooter were travelling along Crewe Road in the direction of George Town while the Accord was travelling towards the direction of Bodden Town.

According to the police, the Honda Accord drifted to the right side of the road upon reaching the vicinity of Larkspur Way and collided with the Honda Stream and the motorbike.

The occupants of the Honda Stream and scooter received injuries and were transported by ambulance to the Cayman Islands Hospital where they were treated and later released. The occupant of the Honda Accord did not report any injuries to the police.

The matter is under police investigation.
