Bodden Town man hit with wooden sign hospitalized

A man was hit with a wooden sign post during a robbery which occurred on Sunday morning on Pedro Castle Road, Bodden Town.

Reports from the police note that the man had been walking to his vehicle when he was approached by two other men, one of whom was known to him.

The victim was punched in the face before being struck in the head with a wooden signpost and losing consciousness. 

He was subsequently taken by private vehicle to the Cayman Islands Hospital to be treated for injuries including a broken bone and a concussion, and later discharged.
