Cayman: 1 more COVID-19 case; 141 in total

There is one more positive COVID-19 result in the Cayman Islands today, out of a total 673 tests. Overall, 496 tests that were run came from the HSA and 177 came from Doctor’s Hospital, with the total positive coming to 141.

This newest case was community-acquired. Contact tracing has begun.

Some 50% of Cayman Brac has been tested, three of which were previously positive.

In addition, 15 per cent of the first group of 8,000 workers has been completed.

The status of positive cases is as follows:

1 have some symptoms.

71 are asymptomatic.

0 individuals are in the hospital but are no longer being treated for COVID-19 but for other conditions.

68 have recovered fully.

1 death.
