Cayman: 6 positive COVID-19 cases today, bringing total to 220

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reports 255 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since it was last reported on Thursday.

Six were positive.  

Five are returning travellers (three tested positive on arrival in Cayman and two tested positive after 14 days of isolation) and one is a year 2 student from Red Bay Primary school.

All will remain in isolation until recovered.  

This brings the total positive cases found to-date to 220.

Of these, two are symptomatic. One is in the hospital and the other is the child from Red Bay Primary who was a "weak positive."

40,820 tests have been run to date.

There are currently 411 people in isolation.
