Cayman: Another traveller tests positive for COVID-19

Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reports 342 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Wednesday, October 7.

One was positive.

The individual is a returning traveller who tested positive during routine screening and will remain in isolation until recovered. 

There is one other active case of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands.

There have been 214 positive cases in the Cayman Islands so far.

The total number of people in isolation, either at a government facility or in their homes as required by the Medical Officer of Health, will be provided shortly.

40,565 tests have been carried out in the Cayman Islands to date.
