Cayman customs officer to be sentenced on Feb 27

A customs officer will be sentenced on February 27 after he was convicted on Friday for the role he played in connection with a cocaine smuggling incident.

David Karl Lobo was found guilty on one of two counts of being involved in smuggling cocaine into the Cayman Islands.

In May and June of 2017 in Lobo allegedly conspired with two other to bring cocaine into the Cayman Islands.
