Cayman has the 13th most expensive broadband in the world

Cayman is the 13th most expensive place in the world for broadband internet service, according to a survey of 206 countries.

This is based on the average cost of a fixed-line broadband package, at $150.07, as measured by UK-based Cable.co.uk.

In the Caribbean region, the only islands in which broadband costs more than Cayman are British Virgin Islands and Turks and Caicos.

The average cost of a fixed-line broadband megabit per month is $3.35 for Cayman.

The broadband pricing list has been published annually for the past three years.
