Chief Medical officer Dr John Lee announced the relaxation at a press conference this afternoon.

He said there’s no longer any policy requirement for the wearing of masks. He, however, said that masks may be worn on public transportation, during prison visits, and nursing homes.

He noted also that children under 10 may not wear masks in schools.

Dr Lee also noted that there’s no policy requirement for physical distancing. But he said he would do physical distancing.

At the same time, Dr Lee announced that up to 250 people are allowed in public gatherings.
