Celebrity trainer to host free event to benefit the Cayman Food Bank
Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, Gabriella Khalil, and Tami Maines are hosting an emergency food drive benefitting the Cayman Food Bank supporting vulnerable communities during COVID-19 and the Conscious Kid which leads in promoting positive racial identity development through various initiatives including the Anti- Racist Children’s Book Fund.
Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, a culinary entrepreneur, journalist, and founder of award-winning Bird Bakery; Gabriella Khalil, the founder and Creative Director of Palm Heights - Grand Cayman; and Tami Maines, philanthropist and clean beauty advocate will team up with celebrity trainer Isaac “Boots” Calpito to host a virtual Torch’d workout event.
The virtual event will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11 am EST on Instagram Live with @isaacboots. This virtual class will benefit the Cayman Food Bank and the Conscious Kid, in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement.
The Cayman Food Bank has also teamed up with the Ritz Carlton Seven Restaurant and Palm Heights, located on Seven Mile Beach to distribute food. Nonperishable food donations will be accepted at location entrances from Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19, 2020 from 10 am to 5 pm each day.
