Elections Office updates mid-afternoon voter turnout roster

The Elections Office of the Cayman Islands, as of 2:30 p.m., has released an updated review of voter turnout to respective districts and polling stations thus far.

As it stands, only two districts have recorded a 60% or higher voter turnout: George Town South and North Side – while the other constituencies are hovering close to or above 50%.

WEST BAY

West Bay South: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 686 (51%)

West Bay Central: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 519 (49%)

West Bay West: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 587 (47.92%)

West Bay North: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 545 (48%)

 

GEORGE TOWN

George Town North: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 623 (53%)

George Town West: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 672 (54%)

George Town Central: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 748 (59%)

George Town South: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 730 (60%)

George Town East: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 645 (50%)

 

RED BAY

Red Bay: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 666 (56.68%)

Prospect: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 571 (48%)

Savannah: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 650 (48%)

Newlands: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 705 (56%)

 

BODDEN TOWN

Bodden Town West: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 719 (49%)

Bodden Town East: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 735 (48%)

 

NORTH SIDE

North Side: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 440 (61%)

 

EAST END

East End: voter turnout as of 2:30 p.m. –– 377 (54.8%)
