George Town man becomes 2nd person arrested in CONCACAF probe

A George Town man has today been charged with one count of Conspiracy to Defraud and one count of Converting Criminal Property.
These charges are in relation to the CONCACAF investigation that was launched in 2014.
The 49-year-old has been bailed to appear in court on January 7, 2020.
The charges come one day after a 45-year-old George Town woman was also arrested and charged for the offences of Conspiracy to Defraud and Converting Criminal Property in relation to the same CONCACAF investigation.
She was also bailed to attend court on January 7, 2020.
The woman is a civilian employee with the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service since 2016.
She has been placed on required leave as of November 29.
