Guyana Elections: Bomb scare delays vote counting for Region 4

Operations at the Guyana Election Commission’s command-centre at the former Ashmin's Mall building in Georgetown was suspended after an anonymous person said there was a bomb on the compound.

This latest incident has further delayed verification of the Region 4 Statement of Poll.

Police are at the building located on High and Hadfield Streets conducting enquires.
