HSA records 500 tests Saturday; no-appointment testing again on Monday

After testing 500 members of the community in its "no-appointment necessary" testing drive, Cayman's Health Services Authority will be performing the same exercise on Monday morning.

The Health Services Authority will offer drive through COVID-19 testing at the Cayman Islands Hospital on Monday October 12 2020 from 7:00am – 9:30am.

No pre-registration is required. Persons are reminded wear a face mask and to bring a photo ID for anyone getting tested (including children)*.

“Our team tested approximately 500 people on Saturday morning which was an incredible feat in such a short timeframe. Due to high demand we will offer this service again on Monday 12thOctober,” HSA CEO Ms. Lizzette Yearwood stated.

With such a large number of samples collected, persons tested on Saturday will receive their emailed results by end of day on Sunday October 11.

Drive through testing tents will be located on the main hospital campus near by the MRI/Dialysis parking lot at the main entrance for Monday testers.

Persons requiring testing for travel purposes, are encouraged to book through the HSA’s  online booking system
