JUST IN: Bodden Town man arrested after wanted man found

A 30-year-old Bodden Town man was arrested on suspicion of harbouring a fugitive after a wanted man was found during a police operation early Thursday morning.

Reports from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) are that a wanted man was found following a joint operation conducted in coordination with the Department of Immigration at an address on Frank Sound Road.

During the operation, 36-year-old Marlon Crowe, who is wanted on suspicion of entering the country illegally, was found.

Crowe, who is from Jamaica, was previously deported after he was found guilty on drug charges. 

Crowe was arrested and taken into custody along with a second man at the location.

They both remain in custody as investigations continue.
