Little Cayman curfews to be revoked today
The National Hazard Management Executive, the Governor and Cabinet have met with regards to the curfew under section 49 of the police law and have agreed to the revocation of the curfew in Little Cayman as of this evening. There will be no more Sunday hard lockdown.
New regulations have been put in place for Little Cayman. As soon as these regulations are gazetted, public gathering limitations and social distancing provisions will be put into place as well as the mandated requirement of mask-wearing.
As of tomorrow, only essential personnel will be allowed to travel to Little Cayman from Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac without being quarantined. All others will have to quarantine in Grand Cayman or Cayman Brac (the island of origin) for 14-days before travelling on to Little Cayman.
If Little Cayman residents leave the island, they will be required to quarantine before they return.
