Just after 2:20PM on August 5, two officers on patrol in the Bodden Town District had cause to stop and speak with a man walking in the area of Caskwell Drive in Bodden Town. The man was behaving suspiciously when speaking with the officers and so the officer requested a search of his person.

During the search, the officers found a small bottle containing small rocks resembling crack cocaine along with a portion of cash. (Picture attached.) The 50-year-old-man of George Town was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and a host of other drug-related offences. The cash found on the man was also seized by the officers as proceeds of crime.

The man is currently in Police custody as the investigation continues.
