According to reports, at around 11:00 pm the 41-year-old was a patron at the West Bay Road establishment when he became involved in an altercation.
The 41-year-old received a stab wound to his abdomen and injuries to his head.
Police and EMTs who arrived on the scene transported the middle-aged victim to the George Town Hospital by ambulance where he underwent an emergency surgery.
In a release sent out on Sunday, the Royal Cayman Islands Police service (RCIPS) revealed that they were seeking two male suspects in Friday’s incident; both are said to be residents of West Bay, ages 30 and 21, respectively.
RCIPS on Sunday further noted that the victim was still at the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
