Masked men rob George Town business
Police have reported their first aggravated robbery since the ease of shelter in place regulations last weekend.
Shortly before 10.30 pm on June 25, officers responded to a report of an aggravated burglary at a business on Party Lane in George Town. The store was closed at the time.
Two males broke in through the front entrance, broke into the cash register and then fled on foot with a quantity of cash. One of the males appeared to be carrying a firearm.
One of the suspects has been described as short, with a thick build. Both were dressed in black long sleeve hoodies, black gloves, black masks, and one was wearing white sneakers.
The matter is currently under investigation, and anyone with any information or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area last night is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
