Road closures & advisories for the weekend

It'll be a busy weekend on the roads with Christmas parties and shopping traffic. And to make sure you don't face any unnecessary stress, we're letting you know of a few road closures and disruptions.

Kirk Freeport is hosting their annual Christmas on Cardinall Avenue tomorrow (December 14) and to facilitate the event, Cardinall Avenue will be closed between Harbour Drive and Albert Panton Street from 4 pm to 8 pm.

The East End Community Association is hosting a Children’s Christmas Party tomorrow also, kicking off at 2.30 pm. As part of this event, there will be a procession which begins at Cottage Public Beach on Sea View Road in East End, travels along Sea View Road, Austin Conolly Drive and the Queens Highway to Morritts Tortuga and then turns around and travels to the East End Community Beach.

The event is expected to finish by 6.30 pm.

While no roads will be closed, motorists are advised to exercise caution if travelling in these areas of East End on Saturday afternoon.
