Three car road collision involving a stolen vehicle in Bodden town

The RCIPS have reported a three car collision involving a stolen vehicle in Bodden town.

Shortly after 11.00pm on December 26, officers responded to a report of a three vehicle collision with injuries on Bodden Town Road near Wood’s Close.

A vehicle had been pulling out into the westbound lane when it and another vehicle which was also travelling in the westbound lane collided. The first vehicle then collided with another vehicle which was parked along the roadside before also coming to a stop along the roadside.

The driver of the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries including a broken bone and was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment.

The occupants of the first vehicle fled the scene on foot, leaving the vehicle behind. This vehicle was later reported stolen. The third vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the collision.
