Tributes flow for motorcyclist killed on Sunday in East End

In an early Monday morning release, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) confirmed that 30-year-old Tonie Rodrigues was killed in Sunday’s fatal collision.

Family and friends of Rodrigues have since taken to social media to issue tributes to a man they described as being an "ambitious individual" who drove for a local health company.

“Tonie from East End, I just can’t believe this,” said one woman on social media.

“Another young life, gone way too soon,” added another.

Friends from Rodigues’ alma mater, John Gray, also remembered the 05’ graduate as a compassionate, jovial man and described his passing as a “terrible loss of life”.
