West Bay Policing Meeting to be held tonight

The Police Commissioner along with the Commander of the West Bay Police Station will be hosting a community meeting tonight at the John A. Cumber Primary school.

The meeting, which will take place from 7 pm to 9.30 pm, will be hosted by Commissioner of Police, Derek Byrne, and will feature the District Commander Inspector Lloyd Marriott and his deputy PS, Anthony Hill. 

The meeting comes just a fortnight after a 24-year-old West Bay man was murdered in the community.

Also attending the meeting will be the Community Policing Department Sector Sergeant for the West Bay District, PS Leslie Laing-Hall and his team of beat officers and Community Safety Officers.

The officers will be able to provide updates on matters that affect the public as well as answer questions from members of the community.
