A woman sustained minor bruises on Tuesday after she was approached by a man while along walking South Sound Road at about 11:45PM.

Reports from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) are that the woman was walking along the roadway when a man grabbed her and demanded her handbag.

The woman threw the handbag down and struggled with the man, who attempted to pull her into some nearby bushes.
