20 active cases of COVID in Cayman; 8 more since yesterday

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reports 345 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Thursday, 15 October. Eight were positive.

The Eight individuals reported today are all in travellers in isolation, a mixture of people at the end of their quarantine and those arriving.

There are currently 20 active cases of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands.

233 tests have been positive since the beginning of the pandemic.

There are 43,506 tests that have been run since the beginning of the pandemic.
