48 negative tests... New regulations to go into effect on Saturday

A further 48 test samples from the Health Services Authority have come back negative. There is no requirement for these to go through CARPHA.

In light of this fact, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Lee has indicated that he believes that Health City may be opening soon.

There are currently 100 tests available locally. Doctor's hospital has some reagent en route and Dr Lee indicated that government has outstanding orders from multiple sources for reagent.

The government has completed a set of regulations that will come into place from 5 am on Saturday until the end of the period that the 10-day shelter in place provisions come to a close. These will restrict the movement of people through the community.

These will allow individuals reasonable access to supermarkets, pharmacies, liquor stores and others over the next few days.

“If you are not going on a mission of great importance… you are required to stay home,” said the premier of the shelter in place provisions that would come into effect from this Saturday.

“They are going to require the continued cooperation of the community,” said the premier.

Employees will be required to stay at home.

“We have now done over 160 tests and there is only one that we have a question mark over,” said the governor. “We can take some comfort in that.”
