Battered dog dumped on wasteland, needs home

Precious was found dumped on waste ground in North Sound Estates two weeks ago. Exhausted, starving, battered and unloved, a supporter of One Dog at a Time rescued her and contacted the local charity.

Precious is between 2 and 3 years old and is a female German Shepherd.

In her foster home, she has gained confidence and likes nothing more than wrapping herself around her owner’s feet. She is gradually gaining weight and is on four smaller meals a day.

Precious loves being indoors where it is cool and likes children and lots of attention. She is not overly keen on male dogs being around her, but does like the female dog she has met.

She is fully house trained and leash trained, although she is a little nervous with unusual or loud noises and is currently not a fan of toys, but that will change as she grows more familiar with home life.

Her favourite pastime is snuggling and rolling on grass during her walks.

Her current foster, Angie says “You wouldn’t know she was in the house. Precious is such a good girl! She loves being close during the day for extra comfort. At night, she settles down and is happy to be in a different room.” Precious would love to find her forever home so she can continue making progress and feel totally loved in a safe and secure environment.

Could you make her dream come true?
