Cayman: Back to negative tests

After two days of three positive COVID-19 tests, Cayman is back to its typical negative results. 

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reports 105 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Thursday, September 10. All were negative with total positive tests remaining at 208, 204 of which have fully recovered with one having passed away and the other three being asymptomatic travellers who are quarantining at government facilities.

The total number of people in isolation, either at a government facility or in their homes as required by the Medical Officer of Health, is 370. 

36,588 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the Cayman Islands to-date.
