Cayman Governor: More emergency travel accommodations to be made

It is very likely that there will be another British Airways air bridge established in the next week and a half. This is according to Cayman's Governor, Mr Martyn Roper.

"Good progress in being made," he said with regards to the evacuation flight being established.

Mr Roper also indicated that there are likely to be upcoming flights organized to Nicaragua, Kingston, Toronto and Miami.

With regards to a flight being arranged to other markets, Mr Roper indicated, "Discussion with other governments will be needed, including Honduras who did not agree when we approached them before we closed the airport."
