COST-U-LESS Employee found positive for COVID-19
Warehouse club store, Cost-U-Less has reported today that one of its staff has received a positive COVID-19 test result.
According to Cost-U-Less, the advisory came from the Health Services Authority last night and was confirmed this morning. The staff member has already been quarantined.
Full cleaning and sanitation of the store has since taken place in response to this news, in accordance with HSA guidelines, according to Cost-U-Less.
According to Medical Officer of Health, Dr Samuel Williams-Rodriquez, persons who have been shopping have no need to be concerned if they have followed all protocols prescribed: maintaining social distancing, wearing face masks and not touched their faces; as well as washed their hands thoroughly on returning home.
Dr Williams-Rodriguez has also advised, "With regards to another common concern, it should be noted that, as long as they are practising the prevention measures just outlined, persons won’t get the coronavirus simply by “touching” food.
