COVID-19 Antibody tests reveal 61 positive cases

2516 antibody tests have revealed 61 COVID-19 positives in the Cayman Islands (3.9 per cent of the population)

37 of these were previously positive on a PCR test which means that 24 were never found to be positive.

6 of these were contacts of previous PCR positive tests.

8 had a previous travel history.

10 are considered to be community transmission with no traceable connection.

"I don't really feel that the antibody testing is revealing that much information," said Cayman's Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee in  previous statement.

Dr Lee indicated that the health authorities are not yet sure how to use the information being provided by the antibody tests.
