This session will be led by the curatorial team and will examine exhibition curatorship within a Caribbean and Cayman context. 

The session will cover key issues and best practices in museum and exhibition curatorship and detail the process by which exhibitions are selected and developed at NGCI.

A talk on the foundations of human masculinity as shaped by millennia of human evolution.

Male guests will walk away with basic tools to discover and enhance their masculinity.  Female guests will gain insight and better understanding of masculinity in general. Talk will conclude with question and answer session.

Modern Hand-lettering/ Calligraphy Workshop

Come learn the basics of modern calligraphy with brush pens in this workshop that’s perfect for beginners! It starts at the very beginning with how to choose the right pen and paper, the basic strokes of calligraphy, how those strokes form each letter, and it will end with practising some simple words and phrases.

Spend an exciting morning with Grand Cayman's indigenous Blue Iguana and learn about how this majestic creature rose from near-extinction to 1,000 Blues in the wild.  Highlights include, see the baby Blue iguanas, and our famous Blue Iguana Sir Peter, who was photographed with HRH Prince of Wales. Tour the facility and hear fun facts about the Blues from experts who interact with them daily, followed by a continental breakfast.
