Fake Police Communicating With The Public

Someone has been fraudulently pretending to be a member of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service and has been communicating with the public via email under this pretence.

According to the RCIPS, someone has been accepting complaints from and corresponding with members of the public regarding police matters using the fake email address The RCIPS does not currently have an employee by the name of Larson Bodden and this email address does not exist in any of the RCIPS' official directories.

The RCIPS does not have a Complaints Unit that is located at the Elizabethan Square in George Town. Complaints against police officers must be sent to the Professional Standards Unit, located on Windjammer Plaza, Walkers Road or through the Ombudsman Office located on Anderson Square, George Town.
