Flood Warning: Tropical Disturbance could develop in 2-5 days

A Flood Warning is in effect for Cayman Islands.
This is according to the National Weather Service.
"A broad area of low pressure just southwest of the Cayman Islands is expected to produce scattered showers and thunder across the area for the next 24 hours.
"Showers are expected to be heavy at times."
The US National Hurricane Centre located in Miami, Florida has marked the broad area of low pressure as a Tropical Disturbance with a 50 per cent chance of cyclone formation in the next 48 hours and a 60 per cent chance of formation in five days.
The area of low pressure is currently located just southwest of Grand Cayman.
Cayman can expect cloudy to overcast skies with intermittent showers and some thunder showers may become locally heavy at times.
Persons residing in flood-prone areas and low-lying areas are warned that the showers could lead to possible flooding.
