The Liquor Licensing Board of the Cayman Islands has issued a notice for liquor licence holders of retail licences for sea-going vessels.

Licence holders have been advised that the retail licence allows for the sale of intoxicating liquor that is to be consumed on the vessel outside of half a mile of land.

They have also been advised that within half a mile of any land, the bar shall be locked off from the rest of the vessel and no intoxicating liquor may be disposed of, exposed for sale, offered for sale or consumed on the vessel.

For more information, persons are advised to contact the Department of Commerce and Investment at 945-0943 or via email at info@dci.gov.ky
