Post offices reopen, business hours extended 

The Postal Service has announced the reopening of some post offices while advising of extended business hours to better serve the public.

The Seven Mile Beach Post Office and Philatelic Bureau reopened yesterday. Their opening hours are Mondays – Thursdays 9am – 4pm and Fridays 9am – 4.30pm until further notice.

The Postal Service said Airport, General, West Bay and Savannah post offices have been offering extended hours since Monday, August 17. Their adjusted business hours are Mondays - Thursdays 9am – 4pm and Fridays 9am – 4.30pm until further notice. 

Cayman Brac re-openings planned for yesterday were delayed due to the inclement weather. Those offices are expected to reopen today if the weather permits, if not, on Wednesday, as follows: 

West End Post Office will extend opening hours to Mondays – Thursdays 9am – 4pm and Fridays 9am – 4.30pm until further notice. 

Spot Bay Post Office reopens and resumes normal hours of Mondays – Thursdays 9am – 11.30am and 1.30pm – 3.00pm; Fridays 9am – 11.30am and 1.30pm – 3.30pm. 

Creek Post Office is closed for repairs but mail may be collected from Watering Place Post Office, which opening hours are Mondays – Thursdays 9am – 11.30am and 1.30pm – 3.00pm; Fridays 9am – 11.30am and 1.30pm – 3.30pm. 

Stake Bay Post Office reopens and resumes normal hours of Mondays – Fridays 8.30am – 4.30pm.
