This third dish: the Lasco Broad Bean and Green Pea Bisque is tradition with a modern touch.
Think Saturday Soup with a legume-y twist. The Lasco Broad Bean and Green Pea Bisque is a perfect choice, that’s likely to win over your loved ones.
For a vegetarian option, simply remove the shrimp and meat sauce.
Recipe #3 Lasco Broad Bean and Green Pea Bisque
1 can Lasco Broad Beans
1 can Lasco Green Peas
1 ½ cans Lasco Coconut Milk 400g or equivalent in Lasco Coconut Milk Powder
1 tbsp Lasco Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp Lasco Gourmet Fish and Meat Sauce
1 cup iCool Water or vegetable stock
¼ cup escallion, chopped
1 tsp garlic, chopped
½ tsp salt
1 doz jumbo Shrimp
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
½ cup shaved almonds
1 Combine Lasco aGreen Peas, Lasco Coconut Milk, escallion, garlic, salt and iCool Water/vegetable stock in blender.
2 Puree for 5 minutes or until the mixture has a smooth consistency.
3 Remove from blender to stockpot and allow to simmer for 5 minutes on low to medium heat, while stirring consistently to avoid burning.
4 Add Lasco Vegetable Oil and Lasco Gourmet Fish and Meat Sauce to shrimp and allow to marinate for 5 minutes, then add to vegetable oil in a skillet over low heat.
Sauté shrimp for 5 minutes or until cooked.
5 Using ladle, spoon 1 cup of bisque into a bisque bowl, the add shrimp to its center, then top with shaved almonds and parmesan cheese. Serve.
