Tropical wave moving over Cayman; expect thunder and showers
Cayman Islands National Weather Service has reported that isolated showers with light winds and seas are expected to continue across the Cayman area for the 24 hours as a weak tropical wave moves across the Northwest Caribbean. Radar images show isolated showers over the Cayman area, which are moving towards the southwest.
Expect to see partly cloudy skies with a 30 per cent chance of showers and possible thunder. Temperatures will rise to the low 90’s with a heat index of 103 °F. Winds will be light and variable. Seas will be slight with wave heights of 1 to 3 feet.
Tonight expect partly cloudy skies with a 30 per cent chance of showers. Temperatures will fall to the mid 70’s. Winds will be east to northeast 5 to 10 knots. Seas will be slight with wave heights of 1 to 3 feet.
